D Weymouth Church Restoration – Weymouth Preservation Society

The Weymouth Preservation Society is dedicated to preserving the history and beauty of our historic Medina township and the village of Weymouth. Although we lost our home, the 1925 Weymouth School that we restored, we continue our research, programs and events, and protecting the artifacts, documents and photographs that we have collected.

Weymouth Church Restoration

We raised over $20,000 to restore the cupola and columns of the Weymouth Church, the oldest church building in Medina County, and had cedar storm windows and shutters made. It is listed in the Historic American Buildings Survey as one of the three most important buildings in the county.
